Symptoms

When creating an Invitation for a Supplier Change Request using existing Supplier User as a recipient for Supplier the invitation results in an error message:

You cannot proceed with request as Supplier XXXXXXXXXX is not associated with XXXXX in Supplier User Page. (10320,725)
You cannot proceed with request as Supplier XXXXXXXXXX is not associated with XXXXX in Supplier User Page. You can choose from the suppliers list which you have access

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Go to Suppliers > Supplier Change Request > Change Request Invitation. Create a Supplier Change Request Invitation for 'USA0000010' with an email notification going to 'JSCOTT'  using an SMTP mail server email address
2. Login to email server to verify notification of Change Request Invitation was received
3. Click on Link and login as 'JSCOTT' through the SUPPLIER Portal
4. The Supplier Change Request selection page opens with error message
