Supplier Registration Approval URL User id is not Matching to General Profile User id When clicking on the Email's Link (Doc ID 2989490.1)

Symptoms

Supplier Registration Approval URL User id is not matching to General Profile User id when clicking on the email's link


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Setup Web Profile to allow public access. Navigation: PeopleTools > Web Profile > Web Profile Configuration
  2. Register a New Supplier. Navigation: Suppliers > Supplier Registration > Register Suppliers
  3. Add in all the required information
  4. Submit the request
  5. Supplier will receive a confirmation email as expected
  6. Sign in as approver and approve the request
  7. Now supplier will receive another email that the registration is approved and a new user is created
  8. Press on the link on the email. It will sign you in automatically but with the default user not the current supplier user
