After Implementing Real Time Indexing (RTI) Global Search, the Campus Solutions User Is Not Transferred To the HR System To Lookup A Job Code (Doc ID 2989944.1)

Symptoms

On Campus Solutions 9.2 a message is returned when searching Job Data for a new person / job created in HR. The Global Search does not take the user to the HR page.

Documents not available. Please check:
1. If search is configured
2. If configured, deploy and index the search category: HC_HR_JOB_DATA_HR9TST
3. If Indexed, check user permissions


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create a person in HR and assign a job
  2. Using Global Search from CS for the Job Data an error is returned
  3. After the error is acknowledged the Search will return the new emplid
  4. Clicking on the link for the found person does not take the user to HR but is taken to the PTS_CFGSRCH_CL page
