Date Format Field In File Mapping Definition Is Incorrect/MMDDYY Becomes DDMMYY When Run (Doc ID 2990149.1)

Symptoms

After setting up the File Parser to import data into a custom table the date is not following the field definition after import.

It is expected the date format will be as specified.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Set Up SACR > System Administration > Utilities > File Parser > File Mapping Definition
  2. On the file layout tab set the field = TRANSACTION_DATE as a date with format = MMDDYY with "/" as a separator
  3. Navigate to Set Up SACR > System Administration > Utilities > File Parser > Run File Parser
  4. Review the imported data
