Last updated on JANUARY 08, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN General Ledger - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Fluid GL Business Unit feature, creating a new BU i.e.'ZZZ' with SetID i.e.'SHARE' gets created successfully.
However, when user clicks on 'Action' menu and select Copy, the new BU gets to a different SetID, instead of 'SHARE'.

Steps to replicate:

1.  Click Business Unit Management tile.
2.  Add a new Business Unit.  For this test, use ‘NF001’.
3.  Click Next.
4.  In the Basic Information page, populate all details, including Default SetID = SHARE.  Save page and then click Mark As Complete button.
5.  Access Business Unit Management tile.
6.  Search for the new Business Unit NF001.
7.  Click Actions > Copy.
8.  Click Next.
9.  In the Basic Information page, note that Default SetID = NF001, and not SHARE from original BU it was copied from.
