Symptoms

Creating a Change Package from the current Campus Solutions PUM image to the target environment at PUM 3 ends in error.  The error occurs when option 'All Updates Not Applied' or using a range of PUM Images is used in Update Manager.  The following error can be found in the log file created from the Change Package creation.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Deploy the current Campus Solutions PUM image;
2. Establish a target environment at PUM 3 in Update Manager;
3. Create a Change Package using 'All Updates Not Applied' or 'All Other Criteria' with a range of PUM Images from 3 to the current image option in Update Manager;
4. The Change Package creation fails;
5. Note the error in the log file created by Update Manager.

The issue occurs specifically when upgrading a target environment at PUM 3 or earlier.
