When Attempting To Delete a Non-Stock Item Using the Maintain Par Location Page, the System Gives an Error “The Item Has Not Been Defined in the Specified Business Unit (11100,1826)” (Doc ID 2991871.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to delete a Non-Stock item using the, Maintain Par Location Page, the system errors.

Error:

The Item Has Not Been Defined in the Specified Business Unit (11100,1826)

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Add a new Par Location (Inventory-->Replenish Par Locations-->Define Par Location)
2. Enter Description, Location PO Business Unit, Requester, Ship To Location.
3. Click on the Line tab
4. Enter Item 10060. Select Non-Stock, enter Optimal Qty, Maximum Qty.
5. Save the page.
6. Navigate to Maintain Par Locations (Inventory-->Replenish Par Locations-->Maintain Par Locations)
7. Action select Delete Item then click on the Search link
8. Enter the item 10060 and click OK
9. Get an error.
