E-PIA : Unable to Download Excel Files from Browser due to MicroSoft DLP Update (Doc ID 2994371.1)

Symptoms

Users are unable to download Excel files from PeopleSoft and it is stuck in download status.

 

Replication Steps:
------------------------

1. Navigate to NavBar > PeopleTools > Security > Permissions & Roles > Roles.
2. Open any Roles and go to the Permission Lists tab.
3. Click Grid Actions Menu > Download Permission Lists Table to Excel.
Looks like it downloads a file but the file is stuck in a .crdownload extension.
