E-PIA: Search Results Error "No Matching Values Were Found" Clicking Return to Search On Any Search Results Page In PT 8.60.08 and .09 (Doc ID 2994761.1)

Symptoms

Search Results Error " No Matching Values Were Found" After Clicking Return to Search on Any Search Results page


Error:
No Matching Values Were Found


Issue can be reproduced with the following steps.

 

Test Case: 1 ( HCM Application)

1.Login to PIA
2.Navigate to Set Up HCM > Product Related > Global Payroll & Absence Management > Elements > Supporting Elements > Arrays
3.Navigate to the component to get the search page.
4.In the Element name search for element ‘UR’ and click the search button. Upon clicking the search button you will get the search results.
5.Now click the first search result. In this case ‘URS AR ABS DATA’ and enter the component. Now within the component hit "Return to Search".
6.Now on the search page do another search on the Element name. In this case search for ‘GP’
7.Search doesn’t any data even though there is data present with ‘GP’ Element name.
8.Now refresh the component and do a fresh search for ‘GP’. It will show the search results.

 

Test Case:2 ( FSCM Application)

1.Navigate to main Menu>>Lease Administration>>Payables Leases>>maintain Lease page and search
2.Choose a value from the search result
3.Result is displayed click on return to search
4.Search page is displayed with the value selected
5.Click on search again with the same value
No matching values found, ideally it should have displayed the correct value
6.Refresh the page and search for the same value again
Value is displayed a expected

 

Test Case: 3

1. Open the Purchase Order page
    Purchasing > Purchase Orders > Review PO Information > Purchase Orders
2. Search for any PO linked with contract and open the PO
3. Click on Return to Search
4. See that release number field is updated with 0.
5. Click on search again to see message - "No matching values were found."

 

Test Case :4

1.Access Amortization Schedule page: General Ledger > Journals > Pre-Amortization Journals > Amortization Schedule
2.Enter GL Bus Unit and AP Bus Unit and hit search button
3.Select any schedule
4.Open above schedule page
5.At bottom of page, click Return to Search
6.Returns you to the Search Criteria page - General Ledger > Journals > Pre-Amortization Journals > Amortization Schedule, with GL BU, Amortization ID, AP BU, Voucher ID populated
7.Click Search, get "No matching values were found"


Test Case: 5 ( Campus Solution Application )

1. Login to PIA
2. Navigate to Main Menu > Curriculum Management > Schedule of Classes > Schedule New Courses
3. In the Academic Institution search for element ‘PSUNV’ and click the search button. Upon clicking the search button you will get the search results.
4. Now click the any of the search result and now within the component hit "Return to Search".
5. Now on the search page do another search on the Academic Institution. In this case search for ‘GLAKE’
6. Search doesn’t show any data even though there is data present with ‘GLAKE’ Academic Institution
7.Now refresh the component and do a fresh search for ‘GLAKE’. It will show the search results.
