ECM: Unmask Button No Longer Displayed on EFT Request > Destination Page Once Settlement Selected and Bank Account Numbers Encrypted (Doc ID 2995649.1)

Symptoms

Bank Account Numbers have been encrypted. Once an EFT Request is selected on the Select Settlements page, the Unmask button is no longer displayed on the EFT Request > Destination page so unable to verify if the correct Account # was selected prior to approving the Settlement.

STEPS
1. PeopleTools > Security > Encryption > Encryption Algorithm Keysets
    a. Setup both Algorithm ID = aes_ks256_cbc_encrypt and aes_ks256_cbc_decrypt
    b. Keyset ID = Bank_Account_Number
    c. Associate Key Value = xxxxx  (To generate Key Value, reference Tools Document 1608091.1 - E-SEC: PET How To Create An 256 AES Encryption Profile Based On aes_ks256_cbc_encrypt and aes_ks256_cbc_decrypt Keys)
    d. Save the page

2. PeopleTools > Security > Encryption > Define Encryption Profiles
    a. Setup both Encryption Profile ID = FSCM_ACCT_NUM_ENCRYPT and FSCM_ACCT_NUM_DECRYPT
    b. For the second Parameter Value, click on the magnifying glass and select Bank_Account_Number
    c. Save the page

3. PeopleTools > Security > Encryption > Test Encryption Profiles
    a. Encryption Profile ID = FSCM_ACCT_NUM_ENCRYPT
    b. Text to be Encrypted = enter any value (i.e., 12345)
    c. Click Run Encryption Profile
    d. Encrypted Text = yyyyy (copy this value to be used in step 4c)

4. PeopleTools > Security > Encryption > Test Encryption Profiles
    a. Encryption Profile ID = FSCM_ACCT_NUM_DECRYPT
    b. Text to be Encrypted = yyyyy (value from Step 3d)
    c. Click Run Encryption Profile
    d. Encrypted Text = 12345 (value from 3b)

5. Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Encryption Configuration > Bank Account Number Encryption
    a. Encryption Profile ID = FSCM_ACCT_NUM_ENCRYPT and Decryption Profile ID = FSCM_ACCT_NUM_DECRYPT
    b. Click Validate Profiles
    c. Profile Status = Valid
    d. Under Process Encryption, click Run

6. Cash Management > Fees and Transfers > EFT Request
    a. Add an EFT Request with Payment Method = Wire Transfer / Layout = 820
    b. On the EFT Request > Destination page, click Get Settlement Instructions and select the Instructions
    c. Notice that the Unmask button is enabled next to the encrypted Account #

7. Cash Management > Settlements > Select Settlements
    a. Select the EFT Request
    b. Click Select Payments
    c. Status changes from Unselected to Selected

8. Re-display the EFT Request
    a. Access the Destination page
    b. Notice that the Unmask button is no longer displayed so unable to verify if the correct Account # was selected prior to approving the Settlement

Changes

 Bank Accounts have now been encrypted.
