Getting a Warning Message "External User may not have signed the document (10421, 270)" when the User Clicks Execute Contract Document Even Though the External Signer has Already Signed the Document (Doc ID 2995921.1)

Symptoms

Getting a warning message when the user clicks Execute Contract Document even though the external signer has already signed the document.

Error:

External User may not have signed the document (10421, 270)

Are you sure you wish to continue with this action?

The document was noted as needing external signatures, but the external signature does not appear to have been logged. Please verify that the external user did sign the document.



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate : Supplier Contracts > Create Contracts and Documents > Document Management
2. Open an Existing dispatched document
3. Add Internal and Externals Signers
4. Click Prepare and Route for e-Signature
5. Send the document for both internal and external signers
6. Sign the document by both internal and external signers
7. Click Get e-Signature Status
8. Sign Status is Signed
9. Click Execute Contract
