Symptoms

Receiving an incorrect warning message when Consolidating Asset Lines 
 

Error Message:

"Warning -- The "From" and "To" Cost Totals Are Not Equal (From $ 0.00; To $ XXXXX) (8005,24)

The "From" and "To" totals are not equal. Please review and correct as necessary."

Another message popped up when clicking Ok

Warning -- The "To" quantity is not equal to the sum of the "From" quantities. Is this okay? (8005,52)



Replication Steps:

  1. Create a purchase order with more than one line. Save and Dispatch the PO. (Purchasing > Purchase Orders > Add/Update POs > Maintain Purchase Order - Purchase Order)
  2. Receive the purchase order. (Purchasing > Receipts > Add/Update Receipts)
  3. Run Receiver Push for the receipt. (Purchasing > Receipts > Process Receipts)
  4. Run Retrieve Info from AP/PO process. (Asset Management > Send/Receive Information > Retrieve Info from AP/PO process).
  5. Navigate to the Consolidate Assets Page. (Asset Management > Send/Receive Information > Consolidate Assets). Click on the add a new value. Enter the appropriate Interface ID and Business unit. Click the search button two rows should appear at the bottom of the page. Click on the tab Notice the two fields Transaction Cost and Base Cost are blank/zero. Before clicking on the TO Asset Tab make sure Consolidate Checkboxes for both PO lines are selected. Click on the TO ASSET Tab. At the bottom of the page (TO Asset Tab) > ChartFields section > Click on Cost Tab > Notice the Transaction Cost / Base Cost amounts they have amounts. The above warning message appears.
