Last updated on JANUARY 13, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Student Records - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

A newly scheduled class is not searchable after enabling Real Time Indexing (RTI).  Additionally errors are seen on the page when atteChanges to existing classes are searchable. This is after applying the updates in CS 9.2.030.

The new class is on the trigger table - SSR_CLS_TBL_ES.

A SQL error occurred. Please consult your system log for details. A fatal PeopleCode SQL error occurred. Please consult your system log for details. "2, 125: E - Fatal SQL error occurred CLASS_TBL.CRSE_ID SavePreChange PCPC:15331 Statement 227. A SQL error has occurred, review the SQL to determine the cause of the error. Review the program for errors.
If necessary, run a PeopleCode trace to determine the program that failed."

It is expected new classes will be included and searchable..

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Enable Real Time Indexing for Index SSR_CLASS_SEARCH_LFF (PeopleTools > Search Framework > Real Time Indexing >Configure Real Time Indexing)
  2. Add a new Class to the Schedule of Classes
  3. Class is not found in a Search
  4. Attempt to schedule a new Class (Curriculum Management >Schedule of Classes >Schedule New Course)

Install Real Time Indexing
