Symptoms

When the EOEW_ETL_EXE process is run to load data into the target table with an incremental update option on the run control, the process is inserting the new rows of data into the target, that are not present in the target table.

However, the date time stamp is getting updated to the current value for all the rows present in the table.

Step to replicate:

1) Navigate to Menu >Enterprise Components>Data Transformation.

2) Click on the map definitions.

3) Search for the definition Map definition.

4) Locate the Map options page. Map the date time field of the table to the page field "Select Date/Time Field Name To Be Used For Incremental Load Processing".

5) Navigate to Menu >Enterprise Components>Data Transformation.

6) Click on the run data transformation Hyperlink

7) Add a new run control to run the EOEW_ETL_EXE process for the desired map definition, with the target load as an incremental update.

8) The process updates the date time for all the rows present in the target table, the expectation is that the date time should be updated for the newly inserted rows of data only.
