HCM Component Lockdown Not Working Expected When ‘Exclude From Lockdown’ Members Selected in the Lockdown User Group Setup. (Doc ID 2999273.1)

Symptoms

When the user attempts to configure the system to lock down in TL_ENTER_TIME_FLU, the user continues to access the timesheet page able to update.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Main Menu > Set Up HCM > Common Definitions > Lockdown Framework Setup
  2. Open Object Owner Name= Time and Labor
  3. Enable the Eligible for Lockdown Checkbox for the TL_ENTER_TIME_FLU Component
  4. Create Lockdown Component Group and enter the Component Name
  5. Create Lockdown User Group
  6. Add Lockdown Event Definition and Enter Lockdown Component Group & Lockdown User Group
  7. Navigate to Manager Self-Service> Team Time Tile > Timesheet > Enter Time
  8. Get Employees & Submit Time
