Doing a Global Open Search for Purchase Orders and Assets Does Not Return All of the Expected Transactions

Symptoms
Setup EP_PO_PURCHASE_ORDERS and EP_AM_ASSET Search Definitions to be able to perform a global search for purchase orders and assets. When we do a global open search for purchase orders or assets, the system is not returning all of the expected transactions.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Build the index for the Purchase Orders Global Search definition EP_PO_PURCHASE_ORDERS.
2. Home Page, click on the drop down in Global Search and select Purchasing/Procurement
3. Click on the magnifying glass without entering any parameters
4. The facet count for purchase orders does not match the total number of purchase orders it should of returned
1. Build the index for the Assets and Purchase Orders Global Search definition EP_AM_ASSET and EP_PO_PURCHASE_ORDERS.
2. On the Home page go to the "Asset Management" from the drop down and click magnifying glass without entering any parameters
3. Add the facet counts for each group and observe that the count does not match for Asset Acquisition Date, Asset Location and Asset Category-Cost.
4. The group for Document Date Hierarchy is not shown
