EEX 9.2: After Customizing the Generic Notification Templates To Display New Variables the Generated Email Does Not Display the Newly Configured Variables Correctly (Doc ID 3004011.1)

Symptoms

After Customizing the Generic Notification Templates to display new variables the generated Email does not display the newly configured variables correctly

The issue can be replicated at will using the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Main Menu > Update Manager > Generic Notification Templates and open a delivered Template (i.e. "Expense Report Routing")
  2. Add a New Variable and Save
  3. Open the associated SQL Definition in Application Designer (i.e. "EX_SHEET_HDR_SEL") and add the custom variable.
  4. Review the Email Notification
