EPY: Pension Employer Match Is Taken When Employee Does Not Contribute Due to Low Funds (Doc ID 3004363.1)

Symptoms


After applying Tax Update 23-C, do not see a change for the issue outlined in Document 2731931.1

For a Pension plan which allows employees an employer match, when employees do not have enough hours in the pay period resulting in the paycheck deductions for the pension plan employee contribution amount not being taken, (Reason not taken - net pay), the employer match is still being allowed.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Apply Tax Update 23-C
2. Run Pay Calculation for employee with very low amount of money
- Navigation: Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Produce Payroll > Calculate Payroll

3. Review the paycheck and notice that the Employer match was taken but the employee did not have enough money.
- Navigation: Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Produce Payroll > Review Paycheck
