Symptoms
When FEE-HELP is being approved for Pacific Engagement Visa (PEV) holders, a warning is thrown that the student is not eligible for FEE-HELP loans. Though the warning can be ignored and proceeded to save, it will mislead the business users and become a problem.
Pacific Engagement Visa (PEV) is a new visa introduced in Australia and the PEV holders are eligible for FEE-HELP loans similar to Permanent Humanitarian Visa (PHV) holders.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Add the PEV in the Citizen/Resident Mapping setup.
- Create a new PEV Citizen/Resident Indicator.
- Update Student Citizenship to PEV Status in the Regional Bio/Demo page.
- Add Student to Fee Help Component and set Loan Status to approved.
- Note the warning when tabbing out of the field.
Changes
The PEV Visa and holders of this visa are eligible for the FEE-HELP Loan.
