JRNL1_WS Journal Spreadsheet does not show actual fields in error like it displays in Integration Broker error log.It only shows the error CHECK THE FIELD LENGTH OF THE FIELDS, CHECK THE DECIMAL POSITIONS OF THE AMOUNT
So if CHARTFIELD1 has invalid length it doesn't mention anything about the CHARTFIELD in error when the user gets the error pop up, but in the Integration Broker Error Log there is the actual chartfield name.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Check what file length has the Chartfield Department ( Setup Financial>Common Definition>Design Chartfields>Configure>Define CF Standard Config ) – it is having 10 chart length.

2. Using an Excel file, enter a value that will be over the length of the and that will be copied on journal spreadsheet ( 11 characters ).

3. Create a new journal spreadsheet and add the value to Dept_id by copying it from previous excel file.

4. Import the journal.

5. The error message that appears is standard and the customer would like to receive in it the exact chartfield that is having the issue ( for example , in this case, the Dept chartfield length is higher than the standard one ) .

Even if the chartfield department is encircled with red, there isn’t any other detail on what the exact error is.
