Last updated on MARCH 18, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Payroll for North America - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Update Year End Reporting Info / Tax504.sqr was run in the correct order, before running the Load Year-End Slips.
However, almost all of the employees still have PENSION_PLAN set to 'N' on FED_TAX_DATA for their latest row, so their Box 13 is not checked on for these Employees' W-2s that have 403B.

Steps to Reproduce

1.  Navigate to Payroll for North America > U.S. Annual Processing > Create W-2 Data > Update Year End Reporting Info
2.  Enter the correct Run Control and choose Search
3.  Add an Effective Date but do not check on any of the check boxes.
4.  Populate the Deduction codes required for Retirement Plan Deductions
5.  Populate the codes required for Third Party Sick Pay Earnings
6.  Choose Run
7.  Choose OK.
8.  Once the process completes, navigate to Payroll for North America > Employee Pay Data USA > Tax Information > Update Employee Tax Data
10 Navigate to Payroll for North America > U.S. Annual Processing > Create W-2 Data > Load Year End Data
11. Run the process
12. Navigate to Payroll for North America > U.S. Annual Processing > W-2 Reporting > Create W-2 PDF Forms
13. Review the forms, and notice that Box 13 is not checked on.
