Symptoms

While adding correct Username and Password to test a connection for an external data source, the below error is triggered:

Invalid SQL while executing function init in algorithm aes_ks256_gcm_encrypt. (211,402) SCC_CRYPT.Algorithms.Cs_Aes_Gcm.OnExecute Name:encrypt PCPC:675 Statement:13
Called from:SCC_CRYPT.EncryptedValueVault.OnExecute Name:AddSecret Statement:97
Called from:SCC_DISCREPDSRC.GBL.SavePreChange Statement:15

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to: Set Up SACR > System Administration > Utilities > HCM Integration > Data Sources
2. Provide connection information for an external data source
3. Press Test Connection button
4. Error message is triggered
