E-CLOUD: Downloading Patches to Repository Fails With Error: Exception while processing downloads : ('Connection aborted.', RemoteDisconnected('Remote end closed connection without response')) (Doc ID 3015892.1)

PeopleSoft Cloud Manager - Version 16 and later
Linux x86-64 on Oracle Public Cloud

Symptoms

All downloads for any PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) images or PeopleTools (PT) patches in the Repository after subscribing to a channel fails.

The following error can be seen when you go to Repository > Download Subscriptions.

 

 

When you click on Logs, the following error shows:

 

[ERROR] download_cm xxxx (MainThread) Exception while processing downloads : ('Connection aborted.', RemoteDisconnected('Remote end closed connection without response'))


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) In Cloud Manager PIA home page, open repository tile.

2) Subscribe to any channel.

3) Go to Logs > Provide channel name to view above error in logs .
