For Aid Year 2025, there are ISIR Comment Codes and Reject Codes that will require the Customer to manually update the database directly.

In the past, when ISIR Comment Codes were missed in delivery or updated after delivery, it was an expectation for customers to make the changes directly to the database after the initial aid year delivery for the aid year where ISIR functionality has been provided. Due to resource constraints, a bug fix is not anticipated to be made available.

Attached to this document is the spreadsheet that ONLY has the updated comment codes and reject codes from the updated Vol 7 (https://fsapartners.ed.gov/knowledge-center/library/handbooks-manuals-or-guides/2023-05-31/2024-25-fafsa-specifications-guide-april-2024-update-2) and the codes identified to us that were not included in the January PRP/PUM 31 FAFSA Simplification deliverables.

Without making these updates to the delivered comment codes, the ISIR with these comment codes will load, but Correct ISIR records won’t display the corresponding text until the customer makes the update.
