E-PN: Push Notification Dutch Statuses are Ignored by PTPN_PURGE and PTPN_ARCHIVE (Doc ID 3017515.1)

Symptoms

 

PTPN_PURGE and PTPN_ARCHIVE do not process all statuses. The Archive and Purge page has an option to select the following statuses: "Dismissed", "New", "Read" and "Unread" to process. However, after processing, a review of PSPTPN_MSG_TBL table shows that Dutch statuses were not removed.

PTPN_PURGE and PTPN_ARCHIVE should archive all statuses, including those in Dutch.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

----------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Check the status in PSPTPN_MSG_TBL table. Observe that all are in English.

2. Log into PIA in Dutch, and navigate to PeopleTools > Push Notifications > Notification Window > View All Notifications.

3. Select the checkbox of 2 new notifications that are unread, and change them to Read (in Dutch Gelezen).

4. Check the status in the table, 2 are now in Dutch.

5. Run PTPN_PURGE and PTPN_ARCHIVE again.

6. Observe that the Dutch statuses are not archived.
