Symptoms

Asset Management Classic Physical Inventory Load/Match/Reconcile PI Info, Generate Extract File, and Load Scan File Steps Processes can run with Blank Required Fields and Error: "Step Activation Error: Current Step is null (18111,20615)" is displayed after the Extract Assets Step Process Runs


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Asset Management > Physical Inventory > Load/Match/Reconcile PI Info and create a New Run Control ID.
2. Run the Extract Assets Process.
3. After the First Step Process Runs, we get the below error as a pop-up message If we click Next:

"Step Activation Error: Current Step is null (18111,20615) EOTL_WIZARD.ProcessDefn.OnExecute Name:DoNextStep PCPC:17432 Statement:412
Called from:EOTL_WIZARD.Controller.OnExecute Name:DoNextStep Statement:113
Called from:EOTL_WIZARD.Controller.OnExecute Name:HandleWizardEvent Statement:235
Called from:EOTL_WIZARD.Controller.OnExecute Name:HandleWizardEvent_FieldChange Statement:150
Called from:RUN_AMPI1000.GBL.EOTL_DERIVED_WZ.EOTL_WZ_BUTTON_ID.FieldChange Statement:1

The system has lost track of the current step"

4. To continue, we click on the “Generate Extract File” (Icon).
5. Click Run to run the Generate Extract File Step/Process.
6. Note that the Process runs without the “*Format” and “*Export File Name” required fields being populated.
7. This also happens for the “Load Scan File” Step / Process.
8. The Process runs without the “*Format” and the “*Import File Name” required fields being populated.
