PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN General Ledger - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Given a GL business unit for which there exist Adjusting entries in the LEDGER, where Adjustment Type (GL_ADJUST_TYPE) has been set in the journal, and Update Open Periods is done "By Ledger Code" (not "By Ledger Group"), and the Multicurrency Steps have Enable Edit and Post Journal checked.

After running the FS_MC Multicurrency process, two journals are created with the first journal getting Edited and Posted, and the second journal getting missed for Edit and Post. The first journal is the translation journal for the chartfields specified in Step 'A', and has blank Adjustment Type and gets Edited and Posted. The second journal is the adjustment journal to the gain and loss chartfields specified in Step 'B' and has the Adjustment Type value set, but gets missed for Edit/Post. Thus, the main FS_MC engine fails to pass on the full range of journals to Edit and Post.

1.Setup Multicurrency Revaluation and Translation in Ledger
2.Enable Edit and Post journal in the multicurrency step
3.Enable Adjustment Type as a chartfield
4.Run the FS_MC Multicurrency process.
