Symptoms
After upgrading to PeopleTools patch level 8.60.09 and applying PeopleSoft image 48, Real Time Information (RTI) for Full Payment Submission (FPS)process fails with the below error:
Process 2274561 ABENDED at Step GPGB_XML_PRT.XMLCOM.Step06 (PeopleCode) -- RC = 8 (108,524)
Process %s ABENDED at Step %s.%s.%s (Action %s) -- RC = %s
Steps to replicate the issue:
1. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Calculate Absence and Payroll and run Payroll for a calendar with the “Calculate” and “Recalculate All” boxes checked.
2. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Report and RTI Preparation GBR and run the RTI preparation process.
3. Navigate to Global Payroll and Absence Mgmt > Taxes > Process RTI GBR > Process RTI GBR and run the RTI FPS process.
4. Notice that the RTI FPS process fails with the above error.
