Symptoms
When adding or changing an email address in e.g. Modify a Person and entering an email address with a "." after the @ sign e.g. "test@.te.st", the incorrect error message is shown.
"Invalid email format: test@.te.st (18111,4410)
Possible Reasons:
The domain name part of the email should not start or end with hyphen.
The email must contain at least two characters after the last dot '.'"
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Workforce Administration -> Modify a Person -> Contact Information
2. Edit "Email Address" field by adding a comma after @ sign in the email address e.g. "test@.te.st".
