E-PIA: End Modal Statement Confirming Action For Reset Password in Candidate Gateway Does Not Show Up in Firefox (Doc ID 3020772.1)

Symptoms

When resetting the password in Candidate Gateway, there is no confirmation of success or failure and the window does not close. 

This behavior only happens on Firefox. The end modal window works on Chrome and Edge.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Candidate Gateway web site. 
  2. Click on the 'Forgot Password' link to have an email sent to the user to reset the password.
  3. Once the email is received, open the 'Reset Password' page.
  4. Provide the new password. Notice that there is no confirmation that the password is good or not.
