Symptoms
The HR Notepad Details Page displays the Effective Date of the Previous Employee rather than the Current One, therefore the search note results are inaccurate.
Steps to replicate the issue:
1. Navigate to Set Up HCM > Common Definitions > Text Catalog and Notepad > Configure HR Notepad.
2. Select Configure link on Owner ID = Human Resources and Sub-ID = JOB.
3. Select Prompt Table as "JOB" and Prompt Fields as "EMPLID", "EFFDT" and "EFFSEQ". Enable the options "Required", "Entareble" and "Display on Grid".
4. Save.
5. Navigate to Workforce Administration homepage> Manage Human Resources> Manage Job.
6. Search for and select the employee.
7. On the Job Summary page, the employee has one note and one job row with effective date = 12/21/2023.
8. Click on the notepad icon – the Job Data Notepad page shows in the effective date of the previous employee that was viewing (eg: 12/08/2023) and does not show any notes.
