Symptoms

The following error is triggered when trying to update Emergency Contact via the Admin component:

Error message on online page:
  A SQL error occurred. Please consult your system log for details.

Error message in trace file:

Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Navigate to Workforce Administration > Personal Information > Personal Relationships > Emergency Contact
2. Searched with KU0001 = this employee ID from DEMO - this is fictitious data.
3. Uncheck the "Same Address as Employee", then select USA as the country.
4. Click the "Edit Address" button and the above error message.

 

NOTE: The above employee ID represents a fictitious sample (based upon made-up data used in the Oracle Demo Vision instance). Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.
