E-PC: WriteToLog() Function Fails To Write to XXX.tracesql Trace File (Doc ID 3023215.1)

Symptoms

Developer added the following WriteToLog() message in a PIA page's SavePreChange event, and set the AppLogFence to 1 in the application server configuration file.
After the page containing the code was triggered, the message below was not written to a XXX.tracesql trace file or the application server Log.

2. Re-start the application server domain.

3. Log into PIA, and perform the actions that trigger execution of the code above.

4. Navigate to the application server's LOGS directory, and observe that a .tracesql file was not created, and the entry was not added to the application server log file.
