When Using Electronic Transcript Request With the 'Send Options' Setting 'Place File In Directory', After Clicking 'Process' Button the Request History Tab Indicates 'Generated' But the File is not Written to the Indicated Directory (Doc ID 3025821.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to generate an electronic transcript, the file does not get written as to the directory specified on the Send Options tab. The component information indicates the file was successfully generated, but it can't be found where expected in the specified directory.

Running the process in batch with the same parameters is successful both with the process completing and the file being written to the expected directory.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Records and Enrollment > Transcripts > Electronic Transcripts > Electronic Transcript Request page.
  2. File in the required details and click the 'Process' button.
  3. Go to the 'Send Options' tab to verify  'Send Options' is set to 'Place File in Directory', and note the File Name and Output File Path, along with the status 'Generated'.
  4. Go to the indicated Output File Path directory and confirm the file is not there.
