Symptoms

When Update Customer Contact Getting the Error: 

First operand of .is not an object, so cannot access member count. (180,235) FUNCLIB.OMINTFC.CONTACT_FLAG.FieldFormula Name:delete_cust_contact PCPC:15996 Statement:274
Called from:CONTACT.CONTACT_ID.SavePostChange Statement:181


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Go to Customer > Customer Information > General Information and select 'customer contact' on General Info Links
  2. Add new effective date row and system generates the error message on saving: "First operand of .is not an object, so cannot access member count. (180,235) FUNCLIB.OMINTFC.CONTACT_FLAG.FieldFormula Name:delete_cust_contact PCPC:15996 Statement:274
    Called from:CONTACT.CONTACT_ID.SavePostChange Statement:181"
  3. When run SQL queries: 
    SELECT * FROM PS_CUST_CONTACT WHERE CUST_ID = 'XXXXXXXXXX' 
    SELECT * FROM PS_CONTACT_CUST WHERE CUST_ID = 'XXXXXXXXXX'
    found duplicate CNTCT_SEQ_NUM in both records
