E-DB2: SQL Scripts Do Not Get Generated When the Build Project Option is Used on UTS Enabled Databases (Doc ID 3026101.1)

Last updated on JUNE 14, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.60 and later
IBM z/OS on System z

Symptoms

When using Application Designer to build tables on a DB2 database where UTS is enabled, the SQL scripts are empty when the Build Project option is used.  If UTS is not enabled, the Build Project option works as expected.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Enable UTS
  2. Create a project with new custom RECORD
  3. Run BUILD PROJECT to create the script file for the new record.
