E-PUM: HCM PI 49 on VirtualBox Install Hangs After Selecting 'Y' To Manually Configure Hostname (Doc ID 3027884.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to install HCM 9.2 PI 49 on VirtualBox, it hangs at this step: 

'Do you want to manually configure the hostname (y|N)?' y





The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
2. Navigate to DPK_INSTALL/setup folder.
3. Run psft-dpk-setup.bat.
