Symptoms

After installing PeopleTools version 8.61.03 into a new server machine, creating the web server domain and trying to boot new created domain the following error is reported:

Starting the domain [XZH5Q4Z0].......
Server state changed to STARTING..........
Server state changed to STANDBY..
Server state changed to STARTING.........
Server state changed to ADMIN..
Server state changed to RESUMING....
Server state changed to RUNNING..
Verifying domain status..
The domain has failed to start properly, please see the PIA_stdout log for details.

To check WebLogic domain status we had to run "./singleserverStatus.sh" which returned the following error message:

- Error: Could not find or load main class psft.pt8.util.ServerStatusCheck
   Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: psft.pt8.util.ServerStatusCheck

 

Changes

The PeopleTools version 8.61.03, was installed on a new server machine.
