Symptoms

After performing 'get me current' maintenance, which includes PUM 46 through PUM 48, some users are experience performance degradation when running GP_PAYE (Global Payroll and Absence Management calculation process).

  1. Main Menu>Global Payroll and Absence Management>Absence and Payroll Processing>Calculate Absence and Payroll.
  2. Enter run control information and process.
  3. Experience inordinate performance degradation (process can run for hours before completing or not at all).

Changes

Users experience this issue after having applied maintenance, which includes PUM 46 through PUM 48. (Customers who move forward to PUM 49 report all working well).
