AM: Absence Submitted From ESS Created GP_ABS_EVENT With Blank WF_Status And Zero In Transaction_NBR. (Doc ID 3030485.1)

Symptoms

The absence submitted from Employee Self Service created GP_ABS_EVENT with blank WF_Status and zero in Transaction_NBR.
Due to a permission/access issue with the COBOL directory, interim employees were submitting absences and were able to override the forecast error and submit them for approval.
Approximately 700 absences were submitted and created entries in GP_ABS_EVENT with blank WF_STATUS and 0 IN TRANSACTION_NBR fields; no entries were created in the GP_ABS_SS_DAT record for these absences.
 
Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Access Employee Self Service.
2. Navigate to Self Service > Time Reporting > Report Time > Absence Request > Request Absence.
3. Notice that Absence submitted from ESS created GP_ABS_EVENT with blank WF_Status and zero in Transaction_NBR.
