Symptoms

When Change Request is performed and 'Saved' the request is actually submitted.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Go to Create Requisition tile. Create a special requisition under the same business unit
  2. Login as VP2 and approve
  3. Login as VP1. Go to My Requisition tile and budget check requisition
  4. Go to Menu > Purchasing > Purchase Orders > Add/Update POs. Create PO copy from requisition. Approve, Budget Check and Dispatch PO
  5. Go to My Requisition tile and Edit Requisition
  6. Click on Item description
  7. Change the price and apply
  8. At this point, the price will show as changed. Only SAVE the changes. Do not submit
  9. Navigate back to my requisitions. The status shows as PO Dispatched and Not Chk’d
  10. Budget Check Requisition
  11. Budget status is 'valid'
  12. Click into the Requisition line and view the change request details icon
  13. The change is now showing as ‘ready to process’ and the change would be carried out even though the user did not actually submit the change request.
