E-PORT: Podman Container on Linux 8 Fails to Deploy with Error "Checking if the Base Directory has Enough Free Space: [FAILED]" (Doc ID 3033818.1)

Symptoms

Building and Running the PeopleSoft Update Image Container fails with the below error:

Error log seen when executing 'podman container logs --color -fn <container-name>'


Checking if the Base Directory has Enough Free Space:                [FAILED]

The PeopleSoft base directory [/opt/oracle] has only
109 GB of disk space available. Please ensure it has at least
150 GB of free space for fulltier deployment.


Check /in/pttmp/setup/psft_dpk_setup.log
<DATE/TIME> psftutils.py    DEBUG : Script execution status [Failed], time taken [00:04:09]

ERROR: PT-CONT2005

Steps to replicate the issue:
1. Complete the pre-requisites for containers.
2. Initiate the deployment using command "podman-compose -f docker-compose-pum.yaml up -d --build --no-cache".
3. Review the error in logs after successful image creation.
