ELA: The Prior Lease Payment (PLP) Accounting Entries Are Not Generated After a Lease Extension Amendment Is Created. (Doc ID 3035099.1)

Symptoms

The Prior Lease Payment (PLP) Accounting Entries are not generated after a Lease Extension Amendment is created.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Created a New Lease.
Navigation: Lease Administration > Payables Leases > Create New Payables Lease.
2. Calculate the Depreciation.
Navigation: Asset Management > Depreciation > Processing > Calculate Depreciation.
3. Create the Accounting Entries.
Navigation: Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Create Accounting Entries.
4. Create an Amendment:
 - Adjust the Termination Date and the Asset Estimated Life.
 - Add a new Base Rent.
5. Calculate the Depreciation.
6. Create the Accounting Entries.
7. Closed the Depreciation.
Navigation: Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Close Depreciation.
8. Review the Accounting Entries.
Navigation: Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Review Financial Entries.
*Notice that the PLP Entries are missing.
