Symptoms
Configurable Search is not working for the User Profiles component. After setting up the configuration, when searching for a User ID beginning with 'P', for example, more than one result was expected.
The issue was reproducible in the customer site with the following steps:
1. Using a fresh demo instance, open Application Designer.
2. Open the record PSOPRDEFN_SRCH.
3. Save a copy of the record and call it MY_OPRDEFN_SRCH.
4. Add the field JOBCODE.
5. Change the SQL definition to:
20. Run a simple search like User ID begins with P. The only result that is ever returned is PS.
Changes
Upgraded to PeopleTools 8.60.
