Symptoms

After upgrading to PeopleTools (PT) 8.60.02, when a custom application engine program invokes custom Java classes, the following errors are seen in the application engine log file

 

ERROR
-----------------------

Java Exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/activation/DataSource during call of com.something.someClass


Replication Steps:

1. Add the custom jar into the class directory, and reboot the process scheduler.
2. Run the custom process.
3. Open the application engine log file, and observe the error above.


Sample Environment:

PT 8.60.02
FSCM 9.20
