Goal

When defining a schedule ID, hours and minutes fields are provided for a user defined frequency type. What is the significance of both these fields with respect to Interest calculation and how do both the fields impact the interest calculation (Cash Management > In-House Banking > Calculate Interest Accruals)?

Steps:

  1. Go to Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Calendars/Schedules > Create Schedules
  2. Select the Frequency as User Defined.
  3. See that Hours and Minutes fields are enabled.
