Symptoms

When attempting to import a Elastic Search instance into CM,
the following error occurs.

Value for attribute search_provider is not set for a elasticsearchtier instance

or

Unexpected data type code: None.

Invalid token [ 9 ] at position [ 433 ], Expected tokens are: [ , ]



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open environment tile
2. Import environment
3. Add search stack
4. Fill in details to import
5. Click 'done'
