The Plan/CIP Code Description Is Missing On the Student Consolidated Stats - NSC Data Element Page When the CIP Code Begins With A Zero (Doc ID 3042059.1)

Symptoms

Student Plan and CIP Code descriptions are not displaying on the Student Consolidated Stats NSC Data Elements page (Navigation: Records and Enrollment > Enrollment Reporting > Student Consolidated Statistics>NSC Data Elements tab) when the CIP Code begins with a zero. It also does not display the formatted CIP Code that contains a period.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Set Up SACR>Foundation Tables>Academic Plan Table and setup the CIP Code. The CIP Code has leading 0 and a description
  2. Navigate to Records and Enrollment > Student Program/Plan
  3. Query a student and add a Plan
  4. Navigate to Records and Enrollment > Enrollment Reporting > Academic Statistics Type and complete setup
  5. Navigate to Records and Enrollment > Enrollment Reporting > Define Statistics Period and complete setup
  6. Navigate to Set Up SACR > Product Related > Financial Aid > Credential Level Cross Reference and complete setup
  7. Navigate to Set Up SACR > Foundation Tables > Institution Table > Academic Institution 3 and complete setup
  8. Run the Consolidated Statistic Process (Records and Enrollment > Enrollment Reporting > Process Consolidate Statistics) for above Statistics Period
  9. Navigate to Records and Enrollment > Enrollment Reporting > Student Consolidated Statistics>NSC Data Elements tab for the example emplid.
