E-PIA: When Running a Report on the Tax Deposit Summary Page, Users are Unable to Use/Press the Enter Key to Select the Pay Run ID (Doc ID 3046261.1)

Symptoms

In PeopleTools (PT) 8.58 and earlier releases, pressing the <Enter> key tabs out of a field. Users can press <Enter> after typing in/selecting the Pay Run ID.

However, after upgrading to PT 8.59 or later, after entering the pay run id on the tax deposit summary report page, nothing happens when <Enter> is pressed. The <Tab> key must be pressed to perform the same function as <Enter> did in earlier releases.

Replication steps:

  1. Log into PIA, and navigate to Payroll for North America > Pay Period Tax reports USA > Tax Deposit Summary, and add a new Value.
  2. Type in or select the Pay Run ID from the lookup.
  3. Press <Enter>, and observe that nothing happens.
