E-QR: Scheduled Composite Queries Show Description of "PSCOMPQRY" Instead of Expected Run Control Descr (Doc ID 3047149.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 16, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.60 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When scheduling Composite Queries to Web output type, the description link in Report Manager shows generic process name of PSCOMPQRY  instead of the expected description of the Run control which reflects the Composite Query that was run. This should behave the same as when a regular Scheduled Query is run to WEB output, where the expected run control description is shown to reflect the Query name that was run. Composite Query should behave in the same way to reflect the Composite Query that was run.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Schedule a Composite Query to run on the Process Scheduler to WEB output destination
2. Monitor to completion in Process Monitor
3. Click on LIST tab in Report Manager and observe generic PSCOMPQRY process name used instead of the name of the Comp Qry itself from the run control description
